Creative Partnership

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

This policy explains how CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP LIMITED handles personal data in the apps and games it publishes on Google Play and on this website. Each app has its own section. Before we release a new app, or a change that uses personal data differently, we add it here. The policy currently covers:

  • Gavel Drop: Courtroom Puzzles, Android package online.creativepartnershiplimited.gaveldrop;
  • the website creativepartnershiplimited.online.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13546652), registered office: Unit 1H Mereworth Business Centre, Danns Lane, Wateringbury, Maidstone, Kent, England, ME18 5LW, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).

For any privacy question or request, write to support@creativepartnershiplimited.online or to the postal address above.

2. The short version

  • Gavel Drop needs no account. It does not ask for your name, e-mail address or other contact details.
  • Gavel Drop keeps your progress and settings on your phone. We do not receive them, and the game runs no analytics.
  • Gavel Drop 1.0 shows no ads and collects no data. From version 1.1 it shows ads delivered by Unity, and Unity's software in the game collects the data described in section 4.
  • In the UK, the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, ads are personalised only if you agree. Elsewhere you can switch off personalised ads in the game.
  • This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party content.

3. Gavel Drop

3.1 Data that stays on your phone

Your progress (cases played, results, tokens, hint credits and cosmetic items) and your settings (sound, text size, motion and your privacy choices) are stored only in the game's private storage on your phone. They are never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes them. The game opens web pages, such as this policy, only when you tap a link.

3.2 Advertising (version 1.1 and later)

The game shows ads delivered by Unity: Unity Technologies and its affiliates, through the Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads and ironSource Ads services. Some ads are optional videos you choose to watch for an extra hint or for in-game tokens; a short ad may also appear between cases. The game has no in-app purchases.

To show ads, measure them, reward you for completed videos and prevent fraud, Unity's software in the game collects the data listed in section 4. Unity uses this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy: Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. We see only aggregated reports, such as the number of ads shown, which do not identify you.

3.3 Your ad choices

  • UK, EEA and Switzerland. After your first case, the game asks whether Unity may personalise ads, with two equal choices. Until you answer yes, and whenever you answer no, the game tells Unity that you have not given consent, and Unity shows non-personalised (contextual) ads. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy.
  • Everywhere else. Switch off Personalised ads in Settings → Privacy. The game then tells Unity not to use your data for personalised advertising and not to sell or share it for that purpose.
  • On any Android phone you can reset or delete your advertising ID (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most phones).
  • The game tells Unity that it is not directed at children.

3.4 Legal bases

  • Personalised ads in the UK, EEA and Switzerland: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and EU GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the game.
  • Non-personalised ads, counting impressions, rewarding completed videos and preventing ad fraud: our legitimate interest in keeping the game free to play (Article 6(1)(f)).

4. Data used for advertising

This table lists what Unity's software collects in Gavel Drop 1.1 and later, as Unity describes it for Google Play's Data safety section. Unity's current descriptions take priority if they change.

5. This website

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies, does not run analytics or ads, and does not load fonts, scripts or other content from third parties. It is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. When you visit it, Google processes the IP address of your request and the technical information every browser sends (browser type, the page requested, date and time) to deliver the page, detect abuse and give us aggregated statistics on how much the site is used. Google acts as our processor and keeps IP addresses for a few months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f)). Links to Google Play, Unity, Companies House and the ICO lead to sites with their own privacy policies.

6. When you contact us

If you e-mail us, we use your e-mail address and message only to answer you and to handle any request you make (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f); for privacy requests, our legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c)).

7. Who receives data

  • Unity, for advertising, as an independent controller (sections 3.2 and 4).
  • Google, as the operator of Google Play and Android. You download our apps from Google Play, and Google processes information about your device, installation and purchases under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If you allowed it in your Android settings, Google may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install numbers and crash rates.
  • Google, as the provider of our e-mail (Google Workspace) and of this website's hosting (Firebase Hosting), processing data on our behalf.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data for money.

8. International transfers

Unity and its affiliates, including ironSource, process data in the United States, Israel and other countries. Where personal data leaves the UK or the EEA, Unity relies on safeguards recognised under UK and EU data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Google, which provides our e-mail and hosts this website, may process data in the United States and other countries; it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and standard contractual clauses.

9. Security

  • Gavel Drop keeps your progress in its private app storage, which other apps on your phone cannot read.
  • Unity's software in Gavel Drop sends advertising data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • Gavel Drop sends no player data to us, so we keep no player database for it.
  • This website is served only over HTTPS and contains no forms or accounts.
  • Only the people who answer our e-mail can read messages you send us.

11. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To use these rights, write to support@creativepartnershiplimited.online. We answer within one month.

For Gavel Drop, we hold no personal data about you unless you e-mailed us. Unity does not share your identity with us, so we cannot look up or delete advertising data for you; please reset your advertising ID and use the options in Unity's privacy policy.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live or work.

12. US state privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law: we do not sell personal information for money. Unity's use of data for personalised ads may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under those laws. To opt out in Gavel Drop, switch off Personalised ads in Settings → Privacy, which sends Unity a do-not-sell-or-share signal, or reset or delete your advertising ID. You can also ask us what we hold about you (normally nothing) at the address in section 1. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

13. Children

Gavel Drop is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 in any of our apps. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

If we release a new app, or change how an app or this website uses personal data, we will update this page before the change takes effect and change the date at the top. Where the law requires your consent, the app will ask for it.
